Dust Bowl Brewing Company has released Mega Juicy IPA, the third-quarter entry in its Big Beer Series.
The limited-edition Imperial IPA is brewed at 12% ABV and 43 IBUs. According to the brewery, the beer is designed to deliver the fruit-forward character commonly associated with hazy IPAs while maintaining a clear appearance and clean finish. Tropical fruit notes are featured prominently in both the aroma and flavor profile.
“We wanted the juicy character of a hazy without the haze, and since it is the Big Beer Series, bigger is better,” said Brewmaster Don Oliver. “Tropical fruits come through, and the 12% keeps it Mega.”
Mega Juicy IPA is packaged in 16-ounce four-pack cans and will be available for a limited time at select retailers throughout California and at Dust Bowl taprooms in Turlock, Livermore, Elk Grove, and Monterey.
