After a successful year marked by significant expansions and an extensive lineup of beers, WeldWerks Brewing is eagerly anticipating 2024. The brewery recently installed a new 30-barrel 4-vessel steam brewhouse and produced over 180 unique beers, including 21 barrel-aged bottle releases, along with collaborating on 33 beer projects.
Looking forward, WeldWerks has outlined its plans for the upcoming year. They have selected their year-round and quarterly offerings, intending to extend their presence to 26 target markets nationwide, doubling their reach from the previous year.
Chris Michener, Sales Manager at WeldWerks, highlights the significance of the brewhouse expansion in allowing them to brew more efficiently. He notes, “With increased brewing capacity, we’re excited to expand our distribution to more states and partners, reaching a larger audience than ever before.”
In 2024, WeldWerks will make their core and quarterly release brands available in target markets across the country, extending beyond their home state of Colorado. The selected markets include Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Washington State.
The 2024 beer release calendar for WeldWerks involved collaboration among brewing, sales, marketing, and for the first time, consumers.
Skip Schwartz, Head Brewer at WeldWerks, explains, “For our 4th quarter Hazy Double India Pale Ale selection, we invited our loyal customers to participate. We believe involving them in choosing from eight of our favorite Hazy Double IPAs from recent years is a great way to engage our consumers and integrate them into our community. We’re thrilled that they selected Doom & Bloom, and we’re excited to see this beer available in the later part of the year.”
In WeldWerks’ 2024 Beer Release Calendar, perennial favorites Juicy Bits and Extra Extra Juicy Bits will return as year-round offerings. Additionally, they will introduce Colorado Ale, tailored for local preferences, and the popular Hefeweizen available throughout the year. Quarterly releases like Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Orange Creamsicle, along with hazy beers such as Transmountain Diversion and the customer-selected Doom & Bloom Hazy Double IPA, will be available periodically throughout the year.
