Breckenridge Unveils Ridge Runner IPA

Breckenridge Brewery has announced the addition of a new Ridge Runner West Coast style IPA. Inspired by Colorado’s rugged trails, Ridge Runner is positioned as the quintessential companion to an active lifestyle in the Centennial State.

With the resurgence of interest in West Coast IPAs among craft beer enthusiasts, Ridge Runner enters the scene as a bold and adventurous offering, boasting a 7.4% ABV. This double dry-hopped brew is crafted to deliver a complex body and enticing aroma, utilizing whole cone hops and a double dose of Citra lupulin powder to impart vibrant citrus and pine notes.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Ridge Runner, a beer that embodies the spirit of adventure synonymous with Colorado,” said Carl Heinz, Brewmaster of Breckenridge Brewery. “With 35 years of experience in perfecting the double dry hop, we’ve created a brew that celebrates our state’s lifestyle and is perfect for those who appreciate the road less traveled.”

Ridge Runner joins Breckenridge Brewery’s portfolio of beers designed to complement outdoor activities, whether it’s a post-hike refreshment, après-ski celebration, poolside relaxation, or campfire camaraderie. Available in 12oz cans, Ridge Runner West Coast IPA is now on shelves at Breckenridge Brewery locations and various retail outlets throughout Colorado.

Founded in 1990 in the ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado, Breckenridge Brewery has evolved from a small brewpub to one of the largest breweries in the United States. While the original brewery continues to serve craft beer and pub fare at its high-altitude location, the production brewery outside Denver distributes its offerings to 49 states. Known for its balanced, approachable, and diverse beer selection, Breckenridge Brewery’s portfolio includes classics like Vanilla Porter, Avalanche Amber Ale, Agave Wheat, Strawberry Sky, and Hop Peak IPA, alongside seasonal releases, barrel-aged beers, and specialty brews.
