Dust Bowl Brewing Co. has announced the release of its latest year-round beer: Dust Bowl IPA. This West Coast-style IPA aims to deliver a balanced flavor profile with an emphasis on fresh hop aroma and refined bitterness. With a 6.1% ABV and 49 IBU, Dust Bowl IPA is crafted to appeal to both seasoned IPA enthusiasts and those new to the style.
The beer is brewed with a blend of hops that includes Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, and Strata. These varieties contribute bright citrus, passionfruit, and berry notes, creating a smooth bitterness and a vibrant aroma. The IPA pours a golden hue, reflecting the classic characteristics of its West Coast roots.
“This IPA stands out due to the inclusion of new hop products and varieties we hadn’t used before,” said Don Oliver, Dust Bowl’s longtime brewmaster. “We explored a range of new ingredients this year, and I’m pleased with how it turned out.”
The launch of Dust Bowl IPA marks the second entry in the brewery’s Classic Core Series, following the debut of Dust Bowl Lager earlier in the year. Brett Tate, founder of Dust Bowl Brewing Co., highlighted the brewery’s approach to crafting accessible beers with a traditional yet innovative twist. “Dust Bowl IPA reflects our dedication to producing approachable IPAs with a refreshing hop profile,” Tate said. “It’s a great addition to our portfolio and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality and flavor.”
Dust Bowl IPA is now available in cans and on draft at select retailers, chain grocery stores, bars, and restaurants throughout California. The beer is also on offer at Dust Bowl’s four taprooms located in Turlock, Monterey, Elk Grove, and Livermore, where visitors can explore the brewery’s full range of beers.
