Dust Bowl Brewing Co., based in California, is expanding its product range by introducing its inaugural mixed pack offering known as the “Hoppy Variety Pack.” This new package features four of the brewery’s most popular India Pale Ales (IPAs) – Hops of Wrath, Tomorrow’s Clear, Mouthful of Miracles, and Peace, Love & Haze.
Marc Jalbert, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales, highlighted the company’s dedication to growth by emphasizing their focus on the chain business. He mentioned that 12-packs play a pivotal role in their strategy to expand with retailers, acknowledging that mixed packs are expected in today’s competitive market, particularly among enthusiasts of hoppy beers.
Don Oliver, the Brewmaster, explained their thoughtful approach to assembling the mixed pack, stating that their IPA selection aims to showcase the diverse spectrum within the IPA category. The pack features a Hazy IPA, a Cold IPA, and two distinctive representations of West Coast IPAs.
The Hoppy Pack comprises three 12oz cans of each of the following beers:
- Hops of Wrath – A West Coast IPA with floral and citrus layers, a moderate bitterness, and subtle crystal malts. ABV: 6.6%, IBU: 50
- Tomorrow’s Clear – A West Coast IPA featuring tropical fruit aromas, a smooth bitterness, and a layer of sweetness. ABV: 7.3%, IBU: 50
- Mouthful of Miracles – A Cold IPA delivering a bold, flavorful blend of grapefruit, guava, and passionfruit. ABV: 6.6%, IBU: 50
- Peace, Love & Haze – A Hazy IPA offering tropical flavors of pineapple, guava, and orange. ABV: 6.3%, IBU: 28
Scheduled for an early November release, just in time for the holiday season, the Hoppy Variety Pack is positioned as the ideal way to extend “Hoppy Holidays” greetings to IPA enthusiasts. This pack will be available at various Dust Bowl retailers and all Dust Bowl taproom locations, including Turlock, Monterey, Elk Grove, and now in Livermore, California.
The move marks Dust Bowl Brewing Co.’s endeavor to cater to consumer preferences by offering a diverse selection of their acclaimed IPAs in a convenient mixed-pack format, aiming to enhance the experience for IPA aficionados during the festive season.
