Maui Brewing, Modern Times, Creature Comforts and Crown & Hops, Roadhouse and Melvin will host a Cosmic After Party on Thursday, September 21 @ 10 pm at the iconic Denver Sports Castle, raising money for the Maui Brewing Co Fire Fund, a 5013C supporting relief efforts in Maui. The evening will feature live music from Mikey Thunder and Ghost.Wav, immersive art from Skyline Productions, a fine selection of brews from the sponsor breweries and a full bar. Look for a silent auction and limited-edition event shirts for sale with 100% of proceeds towards the relief fund. A donation of at least $10 per entry is suggested. Flyer here.
Back at the Convention Center, Pure Madness will have a featured booth at the festival, including a live DJ, the beloved Melvin Bus and Roadhouse VW Van, where it will pour a variety from both Roadhouse and Melvin, including limited edition brews such as:
- Pure Madness IPA, a big bold West Coast IPA that is a collaboration between Melvin and Roadhouse, dark and resinous with citrus and ripe berries to compliment
- Melvin Remix da Haze, a newly released hazy IPA
- Roadhouse Barrel Aged Ruckus, an imperial stout aged in whiskey, port and cognac barrels
- Roadhouse Not Your Ex Step Brother In-Law’s Beer, a barrel-aged Old Fashioned style ale made in collaboration with Dogfish Head
“Can’t wait to get into acid jams and hip hop with our compadres at Maui, Creature and Crowns, as well as all our friends and fans,” says Colby Cox, co-founder of Pure Madness Group. “We’re gonna kill one bird with two stones: Throw a raging party and raising some money for our ohana on the island.”
Additionally, Roadhouse and Melvin will participate in the annual PAIRED event, in keeping with Roadhouse’s renowned roots as a food-friendly beer. Roadhouse and Pure Madness co-founder Gavin Fine, a noted Jackson chef + restaurateur, will also be featured chef at the event.
“We are excited to be back at GABF and participating in PAIRED again,” notes Fine. “We’re always pushing boundaries and can’t wait to share our latest creations with craft beer lovers and officially introduce them to Pure Madness.”
