Weldwerks Brewing’s Juicy Bits IPA is one of the most popular and highly rated New England-style IPAs in the country. It is brewed with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops, which give it a complex and juicy flavor profile.
Pours a hazy, golden-orange color with a thick white head. The aroma is intense and fruity, with notes of orange, mango, pineapple, and apricot. The flavor is similar, with a juicy and refreshing sweetness that is balanced by a light bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, with a medium body and moderate carbonation.
Juicy Bits is a very well-balanced and flavorful IPA. The hops are showcased perfectly, and the malt backbone provides just enough sweetness to balance the bitterness. It is a very drinkable beer at 6.7% ABV. Overall, Weldwerks Brewing’s Juicy Bits IPA is an outstanding example of the New England IPA style. It is a must-try for any fan of hazy IPAs.
Freshness is key with hazy IPAs so I was excited to see how quickly Juicy Bits arrived from Tavour! Weldwerks doesn’t distribute to my area but I was able to get Juicy Bits delivered to my door just a few weeks after it was canned.
