Montauk Brewing Company has announced the return of its limited release India Pale Ale, Project 4:20. It will be reintroduced in celebration of Earth Month and aims to support environmental causes. Montauk Brewing will be donating proceeds from Project 4:20 to the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to safeguarding the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches.
Crafted with a unique blend of terpenes, Project 4:20 boasts a hazy IPA profile with resinous hempy aromatic notes and an alcohol-by-volume content of 6.8%.
Apart from the monetary contribution, Montauk Brewing will actively participate in beach clean-up events organized by the Surfrider Foundation’s Eastern Long Island and Central Long Island chapters throughout April.
Founder and brand director of Montauk Brewing, Vaughan Cutillo, expressed enthusiasm for the release, stating, “This is one of our favorite limited releases of the year that we’ve brewed to celebrate all things green in April. The heady aromas and flavors of this potent IPA feel right at home during Earth Month.”
Project 4:20 is currently available for purchase at select retailers and on-premise locations in New York and New Jersey. Additionally, it will be featured at Blue Point Brewing Company’s Shakedown on Mainstreet event at the Blue Point brewery in Patchogue on April 20.
