Pure Madness Brewery Group, the parent company of Wyoming-based Roadhouse Brewing Co. and Melvin Brewing, has introduced several updates to its lineup in anticipation of the ski season. Among the highlights are the debut of Roadhouse Haze King Hazy IPA, the return of Melvin Jackson Hole Lager, and a refreshed can design for Roadhouse Loose Boots Après IPA.
Roadhouse Haze King Hazy IPA (5.0% ABV)
In collaboration with Snow King Resort, Roadhouse Brewing has created Haze King Hazy IPA as the resort’s official beer. This brew features tropical and dank flavors, achieved with a combination of Strata, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. The partnership with Snow King Resort celebrates its local roots and enhances the après-ski experience.
Melvin Jackson Hole Lager (4.2% ABV)
After a brief hiatus, Melvin Brewing has brought back its Jackson Hole Lager. Designed to be a refreshing choice after a day on the slopes, this lager features subtle malted barley flavors with hints of hops. It’s brewed with a mix of corn and rice, giving it a dry, light body and crisp effervescence. This beer offers a contrast to Melvin’s more hop-forward IPAs, providing a smooth, easy-drinking option for après enthusiasts.
Roadhouse Loose Boots Après IPA (5.0% ABV)
Rounding out the lineup, Roadhouse Brewing has unveiled a new 80s-inspired can design for Loose Boots Après IPA, its low-alcohol brew with a bold hoppy flavor profile. With notes of lemon, lime, and pine balanced by a malty finish, Loose Boots is crafted for post-ski relaxation. The redesign marks the final update in the Roadhouse core lineup’s visual overhaul.
“We’re excited to team up with Snow King Resort to launch Haze King—it’s the perfect beer to celebrate a day on the slopes at Jackson’s ‘Town Hill,’” said Pure Madness co-founder Gavin Fine. “With this collaboration, the return of Jackson Hole Lager, and Loose Boots’ fresh new look, we’ve got everything you need for après-ski this season.”
These releases aim to complement Wyoming’s vibrant ski culture, offering a variety of brews for locals and visitors alike to enjoy after their mountain adventures.
