Redhook Ale Brewery has announced a partnership with the Montlake Futures NIL Collective to support University of Washington (UW) student-athletes. As part of this collaboration, the brewery has introduced Montlake Gameday Gold Lager, a beer created to directly benefit UW student-athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities.
The lager, which debuted at Husky Stadium during home games, is now available at Redhook Brewlab and select Seattle-area grocery stores. The collaboration aims to bolster support for UW Athletics while offering fans a new game day beverage.
Pat Chun, UW’s Director of Athletics, praised the partnership, saying, “We are pleased to have two of our official partners, Redhook and Montlake Futures, collaborate on a product that benefits our student-athletes and resonates with fans. This partnership supports our student-athletes’ NIL activities, starting right in our own backyard and The Greatest Setting in college football.”
Montlake Gameday Gold Lager is described as a bright, balanced beer with a 5% ABV, crafted to complement the energy of game days. Its purple and gold packaging is designed to appeal to Husky fans and integrate seamlessly into the traditions of UW Athletics.
“This collaboration with Montlake Futures allows us to give back to the community and support student-athletes in a way only Redhook can—with a refreshing, quality beer,” said Prinz Pinakatt, Chief Growth Officer at Tilray Beverages.
The initiative represents a unique intersection of sports, community, and craft brewing, giving Husky fans a way to show their support both in the stands and at their local stores.
