Saint Arnold Hosting 30th Anniversary Concert

Saint Arnold Brewing Company is gearing up to mark its 30th anniversary with a concert and festival on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The event will take place at the Saint Arnold campus, offering attendees a day filled with music, celebration, and great beer.

Gates for the event will open at 11:00 AM, with entertainment scheduled from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The lineup features a diverse array of Houston musicians.

This milestone anniversary holds significance for Saint Arnold as the oldest craft brewery in Texas and the longest-standing brewery in Houston. Over the past three decades, the brewery has crafted more than 100 beers, starting with its Amber Ale, which was first shipped on June 9, 1994. Today, Saint Arnold’s brews, including favorites like Amber Ale, Art Car IPA, Lawnmower, Summer Pils, and the recently released Grand Prize lager, are enjoyed across Texas and Louisiana.

Founder and owner Brock Wagner expressed gratitude for the support received from both Houstonians and the craft beer community at large. From its humble beginnings with just three employees to a team of over 200 today, Saint Arnold remains committed to brewing quality beer. Wagner looks forward to celebrating the brewery’s achievements and toasting to the next 30 years of success.

To curate the event’s musical lineup, Saint Arnold enlisted the help of local record label Splice Records and Kam Franklin, the founder of Houston’s own The Suffers. Franklin collaborated with other Houston favorites spanning various genres, including rapper Devin the Dude, singer-songwriter Robert Ellis, and hip-hop artist Fat Tony. The day will also feature performances by Splice Records’ R&B house band Bayou City Funk, DJ Shante, and the Blue Heron Yacht Club.

The highlight of the concert will be a collaborative performance by Franklin, Ellis, Fat Tony, Devin The Dude, and Bayou City Funk, forming The Houston Super Group. This collective will serve as the event’s headliner, delivering a superjam experience to close out the festivities.

Reflecting on the significance of the event, Kam Franklin stated, “I wanted to create something that is representative of the city, its people, the culture, and the limitless creative potential that exists here.”

Tickets for the 30th anniversary celebration are currently available for purchase on the Saint Arnold website. General admission grants access to the beer garden and concert, while a deluxe VIP package offers additional perks, including access to the air-conditioned beer hall, an exclusive 30th-anniversary glass, a selection of beers from the taps, and a buffet prepared by Saint Arnold’s culinary team.
