Sierra Nevada Releases NA Line

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has launched its inaugural line of non-alcoholic beverages – Trail Pass IPA and Trail Pass Golden. Set to hit store shelves across the United States this month, these offerings mark a significant addition to the brewery’s repertoire.

Lesley Albright, VP of Marketing at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., expressed pride in the long-standing efforts of the innovation brewers, who dedicated years to perfecting a non-alcoholic brew that would stand out for its flavor and satisfaction. Sierra Nevada created Trail Pass IPA and Golden cater to offer premium craft options suitable for various occasions. These new releases promise a high-quality non-alcoholic beverage experience, ensuring flavor and refreshment without compromise.

Trail Pass IPA boasts a bold flavor and aroma achieved through a blend of Amarillo®, Bravo, CTZ, Magnum, and Cascade hops, delivering at 35 IBU. In contrast, Trail Pass Golden offers a light and crisp taste featuring Centennial, Cascade, and Bravo hops, with an easy-going 15 IBU. Instead of the conventional method of removing alcohol post-brewing, both beverages are crafted using a traditional fermentation process employing a yeast that produces minimal alcohol. Despite the complexity of this approach, it results in a superior beverage closely resembling traditional beer, albeit with less than 0.5% ABV. Both variants are available in a 6-pack of 12 oz. cans, priced at $11.99.

Expanding their non-alcoholic portfolio, Sierra Nevada is also introducing Hop Splash Citrus, an extension of the popular Hop Splash sparkling water. Infused with Mosaic and Simcoe hops, real grapefruit, and blood orange juice, Hop Splash Citrus complements its prominent hoppy flavors and aromas while containing zero alcohol.

Joining the lineup with Hop Splash, which made its debut in late 2022, the all-new Trail Pass IPA, Trail Pass Golden, and Hop Splash Citrus will be available year-round. Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. aims to cater to a broader consumer base with these carefully crafted, non-alcoholic options, maintaining its commitment to quality and innovation in the beverage industry.
