The Bruery, a craft brewery renowned for its bold, high-alcohol beers, is set to expand its footprint to Meridian, Idaho. With plans to open a taproom in August at 1184 S. Silverstone Way, suite 100, within the vicinity of Topgolf off Interstate 84, The Bruery aims to introduce its diverse range of brews to the area.
Founded in 2008 and based in Orange County, California, The Bruery is known for its barrel-aged, sour beer, and lager programs, as well as offerings from its sister brewery, Offshoot Beer Co. The upcoming Meridian taproom will feature 36 taps pouring various styles of beer, catering to different preferences.
CEO Barry Holmes cited the rapid growth and adventurous spirit of the Boise area as key factors in choosing it as their new location. While The Bruery’s scale is smaller compared to some breweries, it maintains a dedicated following, evident from its high ratings and exclusive membership perks.
The Meridian taproom will cover about 2,000 square feet indoors, with an additional 3,000 square feet outdoors for a beer garden. While the taproom won’t have a kitchen, patrons are welcome to bring food from nearby restaurants. However, due to state regulations, beverages exceeding 16% alcohol by volume won’t be available for sale.
Despite this limitation, The Bruery is enthusiastic about introducing its array of flavors to the Boise community, promising an exciting addition to the local craft beer scene.
