Tröegs Independent Brewing has introduced a new line of alcoholic beverages called Freaky Squeeze. The independent, family-owned brewery debuts this line with two distinct flavors: Black Cherry Limeade and Peach Orangeade.
John Trogner, co-founding brother and brewmaster at Tröegs, shared insights into the creation of Freaky Squeeze. “Freaky Squeeze is what happens when you’ve got a team obsessed with finding delicious flavor combinations,” he said. “As with everything we make, we’re proud to use exceptional ingredients and innovative techniques in these two beverages.”
Freaky Squeeze is crafted using cane sugar and malted barley fermentation, combined with real fruit to create a juicy, bright, and refreshing drink. Unlike seltzers, Freaky Squeeze offers a fuller, authentic fruit flavor with softer carbonation, a hint of tartness, and vibrant color.
With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5.5%, both the Spiked Black Cherry Limeade and Peach Orangeade are versatile and best served over ice.
“The drive to create is behind everything we do here,” Trogner noted. “We let our curiosity run wild with Freaky Squeeze because Tröegs is more than just beer. It’s adventure, creativity, and like-minded people.”
These new beverages are available year-round in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans, found alongside other hard beverages and teas wherever Tröegs products are sold. The packaging is designed to stand out with its vibrant colors.
