Terrapin Beer Co. is continuing its partnership with Orvis, the outdoor retailer and fly-fishing company. The collaboration, which began in 2024 under Terrapin’s sustainability initiative, Terraprint, emphasizes environmental responsibility and community involvement.
The ongoing partnership includes a sweepstakes campaign running through the end of April. Open to residents in select states where Terrapin Beer is distributed, the promotion features prizes such as Orvis gear packages and a guided experience on Georgia’s Chattahoochee River. Participants can enter through the Terrapin Beer website.
Carrie Shafir, Senior Brand Director at Tilray Beverages East Coast Brands, noted the alignment between the two companies: “We are incredibly excited to continue our partnership with Orvis, a brand that shares our passion for the outdoors and commitment to sustainability.”
A key component of the collaboration is the release of Quality Hooch Ale, a beer developed in partnership with Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will go toward supporting the Riverkeeper’s work to preserve and protect the Chattahoochee River.
Terrapin is also preparing to celebrate its 23rd anniversary on May 10th, 2025, at its Athens, GA brewery. The event will run from noon to 8:00 p.m. and will feature live music, including a performance by Sunny Ortiz, food trucks, local vendors, and specialty beers. Early bird tickets are available until April 26.
Founded in 2002 with the release of its Rye Pale Ale, Terrapin Beer Co. has grown from a small 25-barrel brewhouse into a regional brand with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Through its Terraprint program, the brewery continues to promote environmental practices such as waste reduction, water conservation, and recycling.
