Alaskan Brewing Co. is marking its 40th anniversary with the release of a limited 40-beer variety pack featuring 10 of the brewery’s beers.
The Alaskan 40 pack includes four cans each of Alaskan Amber, Husky IPA, Kölsch, Icy Bay IPA, White Ale, Class 5 Pale Ale, Juneau Juice IPA, Excursion West Coast IPA, Ascender Pale Ale and Wildness.
The community- and employee-owned brewery created the pack as a way to thank customers and encourage people to gather and share a beer.
“What I love about our 40 pack and what I’d love to see come back is that notion of ‘let’s go have a beer,’” Alaskan Brewing co-founder Geoff Larson said. “Let’s sit down and talk and have a beer. Invite friends over, open up the 40-pack, celebrate, and enjoy.”
Geoff and Marcy Larson founded Alaskan Brewing four decades ago with a focus on operating an Alaska-based brewery inspired by the state and its surrounding wilderness. Over the years, the brewery has introduced a range of beers and other innovations while expanding its distribution beyond Alaska.
The Alaskan 40 pack is available now at select retailers in Alaska and across the brewery’s additional 24-state distribution footprint while supplies last.
