Bruz Beers will close its Bruz Off Fax taproom in September after six years on the Colfax Avenue corridor. The taproom will remain open through September 24.
The brewery’s original Denver location at 1675 West 67th Avenue #100, which opened 10 years ago in the Midtown neighborhood, will continue operating as usual.
Owners Ryan and Rachel Evans said the closure will allow them to focus on plans for a new taproom in Golden. The couple, who live in Golden, is working with Ewers Architecture on the project in the former Golden Animal Hospital building. The former building owners selected Bruz to continue the property’s community-focused legacy, according to the brewery.
The Golden taproom is planned to open in 2028 and is expected to include a two-story outdoor patio with views of the foothills. Bruz said it also plans to offer Belgian-inspired beers and a selection of Belgian import beers.
Bruz will announce details of a going-away event for the Colfax location through its social media channels.
